Greetings:
I wanted to update everyone on our recent Evolution tour, status of the Evolution program and let you know about our Oshkosh plans. Some of you may have heard we had a gear up incident (pilot error) in Atlanta during our tour, we got the plane back up flying in 5 days and continued the tour (the Garmin G900X does not have a gear warning system, we are installing our own). We covered 6000 miles cruising over 300 kts at FL 240 to FL270, conducting demo flights in 7 states.
The pressurization system worked great holding a nice 8,000 ft cabin, at FL270 we were at 6 PSI. The air conditioning and full interior made it very quiet and comfortable (especially on those TX, GA, and FL 100 degree days). We were flying with 4 people and baggage (954 lbs), 3 lbs under our 957 lb full fuel payload. I’m 6’3” and was in the back seat with plenty of head and leg room on the second half of the tour to get our new salesperson some flight time. The customer feedback after the demos was consistently “Wow” . The Evolution is a wonderful personal airliner.


Our piston Evolution is up and flying with the full electronic Lycoming TEO 540, the flight test parameters are looking very good. We will have the piston Evolution at the Lycoming tent at Oshkosh, and our turbine Evolution will be on the demo line. Our first customer Evolution comes out of final paint this week. The Evolution build shop is cranking along, the next available Evolution position is in Oct, contact me to reserve one . We will be offering Evolution demo rides at Oshkosh, we have a $500 demo fee which is applied to your Evolution deposit, let me know if you want to get on the demo schedule.
